Yesterday was just one of those days. I took the kids to our pediatrician's group. We were done an hour and a half after getting there and none of that time was spent in the waiting room. All three children were examined, two strep tests were done, three ears were cleaned because of so much ear wax, one RSV test was done, and one breathing treatment administered. And the results are...- Emma has a "strep like throat" her rapid strep test is negative but she is on an antibiotic.
- Rachel's rapid strep test also came back negative but she has an ear infection in both ears. I'm really glad they were able to clean out both her ears. She has been complaining about the wax in them for a little while now. She is also on an antibiotic.
- Evan has RSV and was sent home with a nebulizer for breathing treatments every 4-6 hours. He will be rechecked Saturday morning. If Emma or Rachel's second strep tests come back positive he will also be put on a antibiotic. He he worsens or doesn't improve by Saturday he will be sent for chest x-rays.
Quarantined is not exactly how we planned to spend this week/weekend with all my family arriving for the big Anniversary weekend.

So sorry! How rough with your big weekend almost here! RSV is no fun. We bought a nebulizer after our last episode, so if you need to borrow it you're welcome.
