When Rachel and Emma came back from playing outside in the snow they discovered a package...

A box of sunshine from Paradise! Aunt Debbie and Uncle Kendall sure knew how to light up a dreary winter day! It will be lemonade galore this weekend.

P.S. Emma was impressed with the homemade card that was penned in yellow ink.

Two of Emma and Rachel's favorite books.

Emma and Rachel portraying their own versions of Fancy Nancy.

Last night we had a movie night and watched Dr. Dolittle (the old Disney version starring Rex Harrison).
Emma seems to be our own Dr. Dolittle.

In response to Debbie's lemon posting, don't forget the yummy lemon icecream recipe in THE cookbook. Also, here is a recipe for some yummy cookies we made just last week. I used cream in place of milk and used lemon juice and confectioner's sugar for the glaze. Too bad we would have to book a flight, otherwise my lemonade lovin' girls would be in your backyard lemon picking!
Belated Valentines Day
My husband wasn't belated in wishing me a Happy Valentines Day. These pretty flowers arrived the day before. I am just belated in my posting.

Roses are red...
Yogurt is blue??!!! Wildberry Blue Yogurt (ultra-extreme wildberry blue that is). Just how much blue dye is in this stuff anyway? And what does it do to the insides of a three year old? Besides turn her poop blue?
Ken was out of town all week on a trip for work.
Emma tried to comfort Lizzy as the poor dog anxiously waited for Daddy to return home at his usual time.Or was it Lizzy who comforted Emma?
