Last week Great-Grandma passed away.
Emma and Rachel both said,
"It is a good thing and a sad thing".

A funeral is not somewhere I usually take my camera but, some family members that haven't been in the area for quite a few years came for the funeral and Ken thought some of the family might like a few pictures. I was glad to able to document a little part of the day.

Jessica's Portraits

Thanks Jessica for letting me do your senior portraits. You were a great model and fun to work with. These five are my top favorites at least as of today. It was hard to choose! Congratulations on your graduation!

What's Been Happenin'.

Evan had just finished up with his treatments from RSV when I came down with a cold. Several days later he ended up with it too. He was put back on his neb. treatments, has an antibiotic for an ear infection, and was also put on a steroid because the treatments weren't working as well as the nurse practitioner wanted. After feeling lousy for close to two weeks I finally went to my doctor and was put on two meds to try and get me well too. Evan seems to be doing better with the steroids and is scheduled to get checked out on Tuesday. I was doing better too but now Ken and I have both come down with some sort of stomach bug. I practically need to have a charts on Evan and myself just to keep track of all our meds and treatments times. It is beginning to feel more like a hospital than a home around here.

Asa and Noah's Portraits

My very energetic nephews were quite a challenge to capture on film (kind of like trying to shoot a moving target). But their cute faces certainly made it worthwhile.

Another Before and After

Goals For Today

This picture shows today's weather so number one is...

        1. Stay inside and keep warm.

        2. Try to recover from a nasty cold before my kids get it from me.

        3. Iron two 10x20 foot backdrops (anyone with an iron and ironing board want to come visit today?).

        4. Give my house at least the appearance of being clean by the end of the day.

        5. Keep up with all the routine needs of my kids, homeschooling, meals, bottles, diaper changes, baths, etc.

        Rachel, Evan, and Emma

Sure can be challenging to get all three cooperating and Evan can't even run away yet!
