Graduation

With the school year coming to a close we have two nieces graduating high school and Emma has just graduated her first year of nursery school. Emma's class had a special graduation party their last day of school. They each got a little picture in a graduation frame and a graduation cap. Granted nursery school is only a few hours once a week but, can be quite an accomplishment when you are a shy little girl. The teachers were able to help Emma learn a few things she didn't seem to want to learn from Mommy. One of which is don't mix ALL your paint colors togethers into a single gray/brown shade. She has become quite the artist. Her latest subject has been birds. A switch from the dinosaurs she usually likes to draw and paint. The last day of school she created this picture of a duck and apple tree all herself merely by looking at a picture of a duck. Her teacher, Miss Jo, was impressed and so were we!
