Here are some highlights from our weekend trip to visit Lois and go to the zoo with friends.

A colorful bird (don't remember the name of it) struting its stuff at the zoo.
Not quite as colorful but also impressive were these guys. They are some sort of fox bat and have wing spans that can reach up to 6 feet. Yes folks, thats 6 FEET! I wouldn't want to run into one of them in the night!
