The Winter Powerhouse was no match for the Red Green Snowshoes Ken came up with. Emma and Rachel managed to stay atop most of the snow.

A section of our driveway.
When the sun comes out it seems to warm things up just enough to cause large amounts of snow to slide off our pines. I like to call them tree avalanches.
I just couldn't do the sparkling white stuff justice with my camera.
Ice Princesses?

Some of the plowed snow made good slides, ski mountains, and castles.

The back yard has been basically inaccessible. This is the view from our back garage door.

Thankfully, I can't think of one single thing we would need out of that shed just now.
Just to give you a LITTLE more perspective on amounts of snow...Ken is positioned sideways at the end of our driveway...notice the height of the snow right behind the tractor? That's what the snowplows plowed up into our drive, keeping us snowbound until Ken was able to make his way down there and clear the last of it Sunday evening. Since then we have had another 20 inches? I'm being to lose track of inches.

Wow! Wish I could be there to play in the white stuff with the ice princesses! I have a really nice sled that would run on top of it! Love the girls' snowshoes!

My father-in-law would be proud of the Red Green snowshoes! Great pics--love the sparkles and the sky.

Lois-This would be a great time for that new sled of yours but, it's almost too pretty to take out for a run

I'd say we should send the snowshoe idea in to the show but it's not QUITE as crazy as some of the ideas they came up with.
