SUPER BOWL

Last night we stayed at home to watch the Super Bowl. Our house was divided on team preference. Emma was rooting for the Steelers and wished she had a Steelers shirt. I was leaning toward the Steelers side at least until the end of the game when there was more than on instance of poor sportsmanship on the Steelers side-then I began to waiver. Ken and Rachel were rooting for the Cardinals (Rachel also wished for a shirt - a Cardinals one). Evan didn't voice an opinion one way or another so I am assuming he was neutral. We sent the girls to bed at half time so they received news of the winning team this morning. Emma was of course happy but Rachel cried when she heard the news and wanted to call Aunt Debbie to break the news to her. Debbie assured her that the Cardinals played well and there is always next year...

This is the outfit Evan wore to watch his first Super Bowl game. Yes, I know it is a BASEBALL outfit and not football but, he outgrew his football shirt and so our little (?) 3 month old guy wore this 9 month sized baseball suit.

One person at our house wore this Ravens T-shirt in sympathy for those that didn't quite make it to the Super Bowl. To protect the identity of said minor the face has been distorted.

Evan is adorable! And, I'm impressed how involved the girls were! I'm glad you had the decency to protect an innocent minor...
