What HAVE We Been Doing: Besides NOT blogging?

1. We are full swing into homeschooling. I told Emma we are starting our school year earlier than other students so that when the baby is born we can stop school work for awhile and take care of him. Her response was "Well maybe we could get a machine to take care of the baby." She is still enjoying school work. I just wonder, how long will it last?

2. Latest ultrasound still shows a marginal placenta previa and I am to continue with my current level of physical restrictions. Next ultrasound is in 6 weeks.

3.Ken has started ground work on the patio and the stone pavers we ordered arrive tomorrow.

4.Emma finished swim lessons. She still isn't swimming like a fish but, enjoyed every moment of it and definitely made some progress.

5. We recently watched two interesting documentaries. Who Killed The Electric Car? and King Corn (or was it Corn King? Now I can't recall the correct title).

6. And a kind lady at church offered us one of these...

After inspecting the box Emma said "Look at all those yummy things flying out of the oven!"

...Still waiting for the first cookie to come out of the oven. Yummies don't fly out of the oven quite as rapidly as the box depicts. Total time to make two cookies from a pre-made cookie dough? 1 hour and 1 minute! 15 minutes to pre-heat the oven, 23 minutes to bake each cookie individually.

But, oh the fun they had using their own oven and eating the fruits of their labor or rather fruits of their WAITING!
